Copeland Discus is the industry standard for efficient and reliable
semi-hermetic compressors. The patented Discus valve design
provides up to 12% more efficiency than any reed compressor
technology by reducing re-expansion volume thereby maximizing
volumetric efficiency. Better efficiency = lower cost.
All Discus models are compatible with Sentronic® -the industry’s
most accurate and reliable lubrication protection system. The new
4D and 6D compressors feature cylinder head designs that lower
sound levels by reducing discharge pulsation levels up to 20% over
reed compressor models.
